We had a nice harvest this morning:
2 Golden Zucchinis
4 Green onions
1 Costoluto Genovese Tomato
2 Millionaire type Eggplant
4 Long Italian peppers

I returned home from the cemetery----lots of activity and lots of flags.
Whatever groups that planted flags for this Memorial day were thorough.
The old Catholic cemetery and the old Armenian cemetery were flagged---something I haven't seen in decades.

Lil Brown Smoke Shack in Yakima was pretty good, but they're closed now. Sad.

One thing I miss is planting flags at the cemetery with the Boy Scouts. It helps put the holiday in its proper perspective. My Uncle Al is in a different cemetery and whatever Boy Scout troop handles that one had forgotten my Uncle Al so I'll take a flag out there like I've done in years past. What'...
