Pizza

I love all kinds of food, but pizza is one thing I've very snobby about. My grandfather opened a pizzeria / Italian restaurant in Brooklyn with his brother in the late 40s. My father grew up making pizzas and did so until the closed in the late 70s. Some of my earliest memories are in the restaurant...

Happy New Year 2023

I ran to the store and grabbed some sparkling grape juice for the kids and the pregnant mrs and realized too late I didn't have any champagne for me. So I just mixed mine with Fireball. Ha...

Pappy

Laphroaig is my go-to as a poor man's Lagavulin. Fails a side by side comparison, but good stuff at half the price. Ha, same here. I have a bottle of Laphroaig on the shelf now but can't bring myself to spend the money on Lagavulin (though I might order it on a corporate tab). -Andrew Have you neve...

Pappy

I don't buy into the hype. I'm sure it's good stuff but not worth the craziness surrounding it. I've never tasted an expensive bourbon that I thought deserved the price. Especially when there are so many really good cheap bourbons out there. Though I can't say the same about scotch. I wish I could ...

Pappy

Helped a friend finish off a bottle of Pappy 10 year yesterday. It was my first time trying it. Very good tasting, caramel, smooth, with a long finish. In no way is it worth close to what people are willing to pay for it, but a very solid bourbon.

Thanks! Yep, still got a handful of games going over at redhotpawn.com - also adauria there if anyone wants a piece of me.
