Last Tin(s) Purchased

Just scored a 16 y/o tin of GLP Stratford from Pipe Stud. It was advertised as 20 y/o and was marked with marker as 20 y/o on the bottom of the tin, but C&D's stamp on the bottom of the tin puts it at 16 y/o. Pipe Stud seems a pretty upstanding gent, so I'm not sure why he went with the seller's...

Most Recent Bowl

Samuel Gawith FVF in a Savinelli petite billiard on the ride home from work. Nearing the end of this 6 year aged tin. 6 petite bowls left; probably just 3 in larger/regular pipes. It's been good- not mind blowing good but very nice. Less bite and more sweetness than the younger VA I'm used to, but y...

KC Swifties, uh, I mean Chiefs

C'mon man. That extra point kick wasn't missed. It was BLOCKED. Spoken like a true Taylor Swift fan! ;) I won't lie. I like her. Just to be sure you knew... I was just jesting; absolutely pure jest. I probably know way more about tay tay from my superfan daughter than I know about football.

The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes (plays on tv)

Being a Holmes geek and having BritBox every now and again, I happened on "The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes" and I've been enjoying it. It's not the sort of thing you should get BritBox for; that is I mean it's not amazing, but if you already subscribe it's worth checking out. Wondering if an...

Chicago Pipe Show 2024

Does Mom live anywhere close to Madison? Yes, relatively speaking, and I was thinking of you when I was out there just after Christmas, but her needs were such that I couldn't have gone out even for an hour. She's had pretty major surgery today. Seems all went well physically. Praying for you mom! ...

The ultimate nearly matched set! One is slightly larger than the other.
And usually rides slightly forward of the other in the pipe pouch.
Loved every post in that chain. Too funny!

Chicago Pipe Show 2024

I’d like to go. Maybe swing by on my way to see my Mom in Wisconsin. Does Mom live anywhere close to Madison? Yes, relatively speaking, and I was thinking of you when I was out there just after Christmas, but her needs were such that I couldn't have gone out even for an hour. She's had pretty major...

The News & Topicality Thread

...and still permits 5,000 people to enter illegally per day . Is that fact-checked-true? I don't know anything about the details - wondering if that's a stone cold fact in the bill or bull propagated by talk shows? Are you serious? I was quite serious. I didn't know any particular details of the a...
