ROE V WADE OVERRULED!
'zactly Not necessarily. Of course you may be right that some think that, but the much bigger issue is whether a woman has the basic freedom of choice or not regardless of where she lives in this country. The conservative leaning crowd for the most part don’t. They also don’t understand privilege, ...

ROE V WADE OVERRULED!
I think most people - excluding the most vocal packs on the left and the right - understand this ruling does not prohibit, or even restrict, abortion. It just kicks the decision it back to state lawmakers, and thus local voters. So, even those who identify as pro-choice may not oppose the ruling. W...

1911 of choice or .357 of choice?
For me, the only place I use and carry a side arm (and rarely at that) is when I’m way out in the middle of nowhere on a hunting or scouting trip. I’m usually carrying a long arm anyway so why take a side arm too? Anyway, a .357 would be my choice. A Smith & Wesson model 19 Classic. I love my S&...

[I know your is tongue-in-cheek, and I'm laughing with you. I've composed a reply below, which is serious in tone because I (like every feminist comedienne) lack the skill to joke about abortion. But my heart is still laughing!] Evolution (or God, if you prefer) designed humankind such that women h...

An awful lot of happiness in this thread from you dudes. I’m baffled. I’m pretty sure there’s gonna be less sex going on now in some of your states. She gate keepers gonna lock that down tight for some poor fellas. No more love for you! But some of you getting kinda old so probably not doing much o...

Father's Day 2022
Son2 made me breakfast on Fathers Day. He made French toast and bacon. Son1 had to work yesterday, but he took me out to breakfast this morning at a military themed coffee shop. I had more French toast, bacon and added some eggs. Garden salads for lunch for the rest of this week.

Absolutely useless facts about you nobody cares about
Son1 came home with a tattoo today. I was pleasantly surprised after hearing rumors through the grape vine of ideas he had floated by others. He didn’t inform us, but he at least seemed to have listened to me about getting a tattoo if he insisted upon getting one. And what, exactly, was your tattoo...

Corn Blows Down...
I saw the video earlier. It looked like damage we dealt with before 30+ years ago in Pennsylvania. I think a good portion of it can be saved. We would straighten them back up and tamp/water the soil around the base. Then in a few areas we used a few old furring strips as stakes and bailing twine to ...
