I bought two Italian pocket knives last night on ebay. A scarperia and a pugliese. Frosolone is the manufacturer. Rather inexpensive.
We shall see. I think I'm going to collect peasants knives from around the world. Something about agricultural knives appeals to me, I guess.
Enablers, indeed.

OH NO! The Dreaded Pipe Drop
The dreaded pipe drop has struck. I somehow dropped my Brian Madsen smooth eskimo onto the concrete porch and now a nice chip at the bowl is haunting me. Anyone know how to repair or at least reduce the damage to a briar from the dreaded pipe drop? Oh, no! I'd consult Floyd Norwood at Norwood Pipe ...

I went through a tin of this a few years ago, pre-covid+, and even made up a song about it. I demand proof! Man this was over a year ago. I don't recall the verse, but the tune was the same as the tune of the song that John Wayne and the attendant were singing in the shower scene in the movie Big J...

Synoptic Gospels vs John
I think it is important to remember that the various Gospels were written by different people. I don't mean that in jest, or to poke fun. Just as you and I are different folks, so were they. Just as you and I, with unique personalities, would write about our shared experiences (assuming we had any....

This reminds me of a quote our pastor said a year or two ago. "You don't love the Savior one bit more than you love the least of those He died for." That really smacked me in the face. Yeah, that's a doozy of a true story. You know the sinner I love the least? ME. I'm the least of the one...
