The last OFG I knew was seriously into saw sets, those gizmos that set the teeth to the proper angle on hand saws, which are kind of an OFG's tool of their own.
Apparently the Stanley 42X is the gold standard for OFG's saw sets. Exactly why, I haven't a clue.
I do know that once the teeth are set, they need to be sharpened with a file, which makes the very notion of setting a saw a wee bit intimidating
but decidedly not fo Old Fashioned Gentlemen!
What's been your latest interaction with saw sets, and/or Old Fashioned Gentlemen?
Saw sets, anyone?

I like tools. I probably have more tools than I need.*
Few people NEED a saw set. If you collect saws, you might want one, and that's cool.
*Never, never tell MrsCoco I said this.

I am not as cool as JimVH. Nor or you. Well, unless you ARE JimVH.
