Ever notice that Cobs get 'poinked' but Briars get smoked?

Well it was 6 weeks and one day...no pipe...I was able to enjoy a smoke or 3 last night. I closed out the evening with my first name brand pipe, a Comoy Bent Billiard. It was filled up with C&D Burley Flake #1. Not that you care, but I also enjoyed an adult beverage, glass of Makers Mark with the pipe. 8-)

Tonight: Savinelli Capri oval shanked Bent Billiard, shape 811, stuffed with some old Christmas Cheer (1999).

While smoking the Savinelli I sliced and rubbed out some Salty Dogs plug that I will smoke tomorrow in a spigot cutty meer.

Well it was a nice evening and I was in the mood to sit on the patio so with a glass of Maker's Mark and a FredS lovat filled with C&D "Mountain Camp" I enjoyed a nice hour or so on the patio.

Smoked a Comoy Billiard with C&D Burley Flake #1 on the deck at the cabin Saturday evening...powerful smoke for such a big bowl...took me over an hour...just me and the Pine Martin that lives under the bunk house.

With the crazy cold and the ice, its been too cold to smoke...that changed Wed, and it was 27 when I went to the patio. Small bowl of C&D Burley #1 in a FredS lovat and a glass of Bourbon.
