First Pipe in Four Years

Thanks everyone. Still getting back in the groove and working out some of the kinks so not quite ready to sell anything yet. Quality has to be there before I'll stamp my name to it. Got the button a bit thin on this one and bowl shaping is a bit lumpy in some spots. This was one of a handful of warm-ups. I'm not in any hurry to make it a business again. Keeping it strictly a hobby. I'll post pipes on here from time to time, attend an occasional pipe show, and post pipes on IG. But, since the Chinese turned my website into a porn site, I don't intend to start a website or anything. Just having fun.

Enough at least to buy a couple of briar blocks and some stem stock so the hobby funds itself. You need to keep at it.

I appreciate that. That pipe was gifted to my barber/pastor friend as an unstamped second. I do have several in the works that will be either seconds or Heritage pipes made from very very old bowls. I'll post them here before anywhere else at reasonable prices. I don't know how true it is but several years ago I lucked into some factory turned pipe bowls that are allegedly over 100 years old. They look like it. I probably have close to 100 of them. I've finally decided to do something with them to get my lathes dialed in and practice my stemwork. I have to work out of town for the next few weeks and riding to Sturgis and back in between so it will be a few weeks.
