And he was indeed a protestant. Presbyterian, I believe. A strict, pre-destination believing, Calvinist. And a very eccentric one at that. He loved strong drink but only very rarely drank, and he loved lemons, and would go into battle with a whole lemon if he had one, and eat it, peels and all, during the battle.

I believe it is still a fact that an overwhelming majority of noble young fighting men and women in the American military are Evangelical Christians.

My Evangelical brethren are doing something right.
