Avatars Not Displaying?

They're all gone for me as well, even my own. I cleared my cache the other day and I reckon that nuked the stored avatars and for some reason they're not found when starting from scratch.

Interesting.

For me, I got all my avatars stored on the 'puter, so I'm okay there. The avatars also apparently load just fine, since I get a "Your profile has been updated" message. However, they simply don't display.

The avatars are a different — though apparently related — issue to that of not being able to "post image[s], email[s] or url link[s] that are external to this domain". No pics. No nuthin'. I can't even quote a post that has pics or links in it.

Speaking of this "no domain-external images" thang, today's the day I'd normally update my quote-sig footer. But I can't do that for the time being. Hope everyone is happy lookin' at Pope Francis' mug, cuz he'll apparently be stuck down there 'til this thang gets fixed.
