What do you know about DST Daylight Saving Time?

If we change anything at all it should be to implement PERMANENT STANDARD TIME

Permanent Standard Time keeps clocks aligned with the sun. It is better for Sleep, overall health and safety.

I think people get confused with DST and PST.

Didn’t we try permanent DST in the 70’s? It didn’t work but PERMANENT STANDARD TIME DOES WORK.

I've seen and heard plenty of people say we should stick to DST. I'm like "What, we should just go through life forever an hour off from the rest of the world? Let's go ahead and say a day has 32 hours instead of 24 while we're at it. And a minute is 12 seconds long."

I'm not dependent on daylight for my work so I don't mind the biannual switcheroo one way or the other.. I get used to it pretty quickly, but I have a collection of a dozen or so wristwatches that I rotate through and it's sort of a pain to adjust them all.

I also don't have an issue with DST. I hated it when I worked the streets, it meant an 11 hour shift instead of a 10 hour shift. The Patrol Commander used to say, "Ya you work an extra hour now, but when we switch back you will get an hour shorter shift...always seemed like I always worked overnights on the longer shift and was on Day shift or Off for the shorter shift.

But that was many moons ago so I am good with the twice a year switch-a-roo.

Changing back and forth is dumb. I don't care which one but they should just pick one and stick with it instead of changing twice a year and jacking up our circadian rhythms. It is now clear that it is detrimental to our health.
