I pulled 1/3 of the beets this evening. I love seeing our back yard bring forth bounty. 0246 and I'm canning pickled beets. Gotta love working nights.

It's almost 6:15 a.m. here, and I've worked the daily word puzzles, had 2 cups of coffee, said my prayers, ate a bowl of Cheerios with some blueberries, and in ~15 minutes I'm leaving for the golf course to play 18 with a couple of friends, and am taking a CAO MX2 cigar along just in case the mood strikes me. My grandson is still on my mind, but that's how it will be until he gets better.

We went to the Giants vs Braves game at Oracle Park this afternoon.
My bride is a big fan of the Giants and we sat near Brandon Crawford's family in the stands.
The seats were excellent.
We tailgated before the game, and enjoyed the famous Bloody Mary's in The Garden behind Center Field.
The Giants won and that made my bride happy, which made me very happy.
