It'll be a short trip but I hope to have time for a bit of large format photography and fresh seafood.
I thought I'd ask here for any suggestions/advice.

Never been to Crescent City, but it looks interesting.
I visited Astoria and surrounding areas, 10+ years ago. I took the time to climb (stairs) to the top of Astoria column but was not too impressed. Same with nearby Fort Clatsop, and the drive to the ocean to see Lewis & Clark type salt cairns. I wish I would have just hired a guide and fished in the Columbia River for steelhead. I don't know if that is even allowed anymore.
Enjoy some good seafood and some good ale, though.

The Indians will not bother you now, on account of ... you are touched.
