A quite supper at a fine little bar with great food located up in the mountains.
Pappardelle pasta, halibut with mushrooms and potato leek soup, with celebratory Prosecco.
The babe's a real peach, and I'm a lucky guy.

I was thinking, many or most of my wife and my anniversary dinners have been at Italian spots. Our 44th was last month (the 8th), and we were caregiving or involved with other things to ever go out anywhere. But finally, on the 21st, after a drs appointment, we had a very nice lunch of soup, salad, bread and a sweet white wine, at an Olive Garden that was nearby and convenient. It was the next morning, the 22nd, when her asthma issues began and we ended up in the hospital over the Christmas holiday. While in the hospital, (and even still), we were talking and joking with each other about how the Olive Garden lunch served as our special anniversary outing for our 44th, despite the diss that it took from Hillary or CNN or whoever it was that associated it and Holiday Inn with the Jan 6, 2021 mob in WDC. Actually it was our first visit to OG in several years, and actually it was pretty good, and has ended up being special.
