A handful of stuff
Thank you for the prayers. I'll chalk it up to the Holy Ghost moving you all to pray because we've needed it.
Without going into details (not for privacy, but it's just a whole long thing), we were in and out of the hospital all last week with an overnight at the hospital during the weekend with Arwen (who turned 13 last month!) and had to fight tooth and nail for some pretty flimsy answers. For other reasons I don't have time to get into, we're unable to be seen at our local Children's hospital's neurosugery team, so her primary specialist is in St. Louis (3 some hrs away). She has a foot surgery to remove some metal that is working against her scheduled at the end of the month, but other issues, likely neurosurgery related, may have to be dealt with first. So a possible St. Louis trip might be in the future. With pregnant wife and me working two jobs, already missing two days work last week, and caring for our other kids, (not to mention mind numbing stuff that just won't stop like a car that refuses to work and our oven glass randomly shattering for no reason) well...whew, And that's just the concerns we have in the near future.
Again, thank you thank you for your prayers.

An update following that info above:
We're heading to St. Louis tomorrow for some imaging to see if any pockets of fluid are growing. If so, or any concerns, they may have to get a sample of the fluid and send it for testing (in case of infection). If any interventions need to take place, they'll likely be surgical and we'll have to stay the night (not sure how long). Much depends on what they determine after imaging. Being out of town, I'll be missing work.
Please pray for Arwen, the test results, for wise and accurate decisions from us and the doctors, and for the Lord's protection and provision.
