Have you grown potatoes in bags?
It's the first I've heard of it and I'm thinking of giving it a try.
What's been your experience?
Right now, Oranges and Meyer Lemons are bountiful.
I've got four Avocado pits in water ready to take root.
I was told a 50% survival for this variety can be expected once it's in dirt.
We'll see.

I haven't purposely grown potatoes in bags. But I plan to plant red potatoes in the ground on St Valentine's Day. Then I plan to plant green snap beans on St Patrick's Day.
Tomatoes and peppers get planted on Good Friday.
I had a pretty little garden of greens and kale up until the last freeze we had here.

The Indians will not bother you now, on account of ... you are touched.

I'm planning on growing potatoes and garlic in 5 gallon buckets this year. Maybe something else, but I'm only just now thinking about it all.
I've grown peppers in buckets and that worked really well.
I also have a hop bine. This'll be year 4 so I'm expecting a good harvest. (Year 3 is the first real good year for a harvest, but last year just before prime time, my father in law mowed it down even though there was a large wooden stake in the ground the trellis was tied to. )

A hop vine is called a bine. I don't know why. Hop growing snobs just told me so.
