At the present, reading Anthony Esolen's translation of Dante's The Divine Comedy, putting my dad's 1924 Model T back on the road, reclaiming my daughter's Barbie (it's pink) Bathroom for my photo darkroom and getting the yard cleaned up in between rainstorms.

This is the short list:

1) Fly Fishing
2) Fly Tying
3) Shooting
4) Hunting
5) Reloading
6) Exploring the mountains with my wife by 4 wheelers and SUV
7) Furniture Restoration
8) CPS

These are in no particular order and I know that there are other things on the list but these are at the forefront this morning

I imagine most guys who grew up in an era when they had shop and art classes in school (which is most of us here) have a hundred different things they want to try. Unfortunately, those same guys are closer to the end than the beginning so time's running out. I'd like to mess with RC cars, stained glass, bow making, net making, lamp work, pipes (again), vintage drag race cars, bonsai, wine/cider making, arduino programming, 3D printing, gyotaku, wildlife photography, small wood boat building, and writing short stories. All those Popular Mechanics magazines I read as a child were/are a curse. So many ideas twirling in my head. So little time.

My main hobby used to be collecting hobbies, but I've been forced by money/time/injury to downsize in recent years. Some I had to quit and others I just lost interest in. About all I'm still working at is guns and shooting (particularly basic gunsmithing), woodturning, and the occasional fishing trip.

I enjoyed leather work and fishing rod building back in the day. That would be fun to revisit.

Hobbies aside from the pipe...

I like to brew beer and cider.

Reading, if reading is a hobby.

Writing, if writing is a hobby.

Playing board games with my kids

A bit of guitar and songwriting.
