Ugh!! My screen name is cobster and I haven't even smoked a cob in a long time? I used to smoke my cobs and read my bible at a b+m cigar shop so what ever baccy bought was smoked there. I need to learn how to keep and cellar 'baccy. Last I knew I had 4-6 MM legend pipes and one being 15 years old about?

I would also like to add is the best way to break in a cob is to fill the bowl with hunny and let it sit overnight(?) Next dump out leftover hunny and pack n smoke it as hot as possible right into the stem when finished. Next smoke you will have a great smoking pipe with no cob taste at all!

A Missouri Meerschaum Country Gentleman.

It's currently my go-to pipe. I've had several inexpensive others which I've discarded due to wear and tear.

Ahoy, Mr. Toro! Glad to have you here!

Maybe you could post a little bio about yourself in a new thread in the Fellowhip Hall.

We'll be happy to get to know you.

I was walking to the car last evening after work and I saw a 20 something guy lighting a cobb.

I asked him what kind of tobacco he liked and he told me what ever was cheap, because he loads the pipe with premium MJ and then covers it over with a little cheap tobacco, cause its illegal to smoke pot in a public place. :o

Left me shaking my head...then I thought maybe being high was what he needed to do, to help him deal with the embarrassment of smoking a cobb.
