Most recent tin/packet/baggie opened?

Post by Bloodhound »

So what is your most recent tobacco opened. I have a small stash of McClelland Wilderness. And one of the tins is dented but otherwise sealed. I will open it for my first smoke after this extended non-smoking period. Wilderness has always been one of my favorites.

But more to the point of this post, my most recent tin opened was a 2 oz tin of C&D Burley Flake #1. It is fast becoming a favorite evening smoke...it goes really well with 2 fingers of Colorado Tin Cup Whiskey.

So what is your most recent?

I have Dark Birdseye, OJK, and Paladin open. Not sure which was the most recent, but I suspect it was the pouch of Paladin. I didn't want to open anything else, but last night I found a sealed tin of McClelland's Honeydew I had forgotten and now it's all I can think about.

I am a fan of the dark fired burley Kentucky blends and the other day Smoking pipes sent me a "Challenge" deal, MB H&H Bold Kentucky vs WarHorse Bar...now I know that the WarHorse is topped and the Bold Kentucky is not, so in my mind not an apples to apples battle...but they were offering it a a couple bucks off for each tin. I also wanted to stock up on another blend, so I added the challenge deal to my cart.

I have had WarHorse Bar before and really like it, but it need to be cut as the topping is a little strong...guess what makes a nice blend? A flake of Bold Kentucky and a chunk of WarHorse Bar make for a nice bowl/smoke 8-)

A ton of Peterson Whiskey. The nicotine knocked me for a loop.

Maltese Falcon.
It makes me wish I was in John's Grill in SF with a Webley Fosbury in my trench coat pocket.
