One, if you're a hunter of a literary bent, the writing is always superb.

Two, there's a wonderful poem on the back page written by our very own SweetandSour. I was blessed to read it this morning.

If not, let me know. That magazine is so gentlemanly it's positively unorganized.

According to the publishers website the nearest newsstand copy available is in Dallas. I’m going to try and order a copy direct.

Thanks for the heads up.
I think the local Barnes & Noble has Gray's.
I'll check it out tomorrow.

At some point, perhaps you could post a poem here.

It's been quite a dry spell of CPS literature ever since GILBERT ceased publishing short stories by Hovannes.

The October issue is still on the stands here. I'll keep checking for the November issue to come in.

October is still on the racks here also.

I'm a little embarrassed, really. But the poem actually came about due to a failure. During and after the covid lockdown I was attempting some poetry, and was trying to write an ode, to an inanimate object, following the traditional rules for form, number of stanzas, etc. It wasn't coming together, so I took some photos of the subject field during each of the seasons. I gave up on the ode, made the poem simply progress through each of the seasons, and changed the title.
GSJ regularly includes a poem on the last page of each issue, so I submitted the poem along with the photos and made a pitch. They accepted it, and included it in this months issue, roughly 2 years later. This is the 5th or 6th time I've had something published, and it's the longest gap I've seen between the date of the submittal and the date of publishing.
