Solani Tropical Mango Flake in a variety of pipes.

So I found some Mango Flake mixed in with my Solani Aged Burley flake tins. Weird, I thought, as I have no recollection of ever having bought or smoked it before. Over this past weekend I popped it open to give it a whirl.

Boom. The most enjoyable aromatic smoke I've had in a very long time. Pretty, thin sliced flakes that smell lightly of Juicy Fruit gum and mango. The flakes rubbed out beautifully and packed and lit easily. This stuff smokes like a dream in small and large bowls alike and is dry all the way to the bottom. The aroma is pleasant, but not overwhelming and the base would be a good smoke even without the sweet stuff. Good, clean fun. The only thing critical I could offer is that I would have liked a little bit of a nic hit, but none appeared.

Overall Rating: 4.6523 Wordle games out of 5.

I decided to break my tobacco purchasing fast and order a couple of tins, and wouldn't you know it, Solani dropped it a while back and no one has it in stock.

Was rummaging through boxes of pipe and tobacco stuff and found an old mason jar of McClelland's Dark Star about 1/3 full. Decided to pop it open figuring it was dried out but, to my surprise, it was in great shape. Packed a Stanwell Sterling 107 and it was delicious.
