We decided to go old school and watch Mannix (1967) as our next streaming series. Twenty minutes into the pilot episode and I’ve already been reprimanded for commenting on every car I see.

I can still remember when "Joe Mannix" appeared as a guest on the The Lucy Show. I would have been about 10 years old.

Lucy needed to hire a detective. I enjoyed the shock on her face when Mannix quoted his daily rate. And a hilarious fight scene finale as Mannix knocked out two bad guys with simultaneous punches from his right and left hands.

I’ve been seeing a tricked-out, electric blue Camaro around the neighborhood. Wanted a closer look, but it was always moving. Until today. Boop and I found it parked around the corner and I got a good look.
