Surgery one is done and she's in recovery. Six hours. There were complications, but the surgeon said they were manageable and did not prevent a successful surgery. Tomorrow is rest and tests followed Friday by surgery two.
Thanks fellas.

Medically things are going the way they’re supposed to, but she sure is having a rough time. She’s back in surgery Friday morning. They expect it to be another five or six hour procedure . This one will be a little more traumatic than the first one as they have to install a bunch of hardware and finish carpentry, for lack of a better term. We’re probably in here another four or five days, then off to the rehab center.
It’s actually pretty impressive. The imaging shows a significant improvement and spinal alignment and some other things that they’re looking for. I just didn’t expect things to start correcting immediately. it gives her hope.
We appreciate y’all hanging in there with us.
