How spoiled are your pets?

Earlier in the week I installed a three-speed fan and a travel watering system into Boop's car seat/enclosure in my truck. I also upgraded the mat to memory foam.

This popped up on my memories page today. Jax chillin' in Grape Creek last year. I didn't drive two and a half hours just so he could beat the heat. But I would have. It was our first solo camping trip and we both enjoyed it.

This was in my memories feed on FB today. Gracie Lu Puddlemaker was a persistent personal space invader and this was one of her more clever moments.

We really miss this ornery little stinker.

Boop, when presented with multiple bites of steak at varying levels of doneness, will always go to the med rare bite first.

I like to think that reflects excellent parenting.

It's cold here, by Houston standards. A brisk 48f and Boop is sporting her leopard print fleece pullover for both fashion and comfort. Rita just commanded a trip to Petco to expand the dog's wardrobe. Apparently having to wear the same sweaters and jacket as last year is potentially damaging to the dog baby's self esteem.

I just read about a guy that bought a matching recliner for his dog so the dog would quit stealing his.

It gave me something to aspire to.

The only pet I personally had that didn't work for a living was a mini rabbit.
Too small to fricassee.
He used to sit with me while I puffed on my pipe.
He was spoiled. I put a mister in his cage in the summer, and fed him the alfalfa that grew in the lawn
because I fertilized with horse manure.
He liked fresh alfalfa.

Great post. I had a trio of Netherland Dwarfs throughout high school. They were sweet, but not sit with me while I smoke sweet.

Going the other direction, I will one day have (really, it's a goal) a Flemish Giant like the one this friendly looking fellow I don't know from the internet has. They are huge and have a gentle reputation.
