My son is back from mountain climbing in Patagonia.
When the gauchos rode into town to pick up their climbing gear to pack in to base camp he said the swarthiest, most dashing looking gaucho came in riding his horse, leading a string of mules with one hand and stuffing his pipe in the other hand.
