Trump Criminally Charged

Still, our job is to discern which guy will do the better job... or at least, do the least damage. Abdicating that duty is an injustice to our children and grandchildren.
I don't accept the idea that our choice is limited to only two guys. I'm also not saying we should abdicate our duty to choose leaders, simply that I won't choose Biden or Trump as mine.

I'm not taking a shot at you Del, most of the country agrees with you that neither guy is all that great and we need to choose the one we believe will do the least damage. But how 'bout we choose someone we think will actually do good?

How did you come to believe that voting for Trump is good according to God's will?

I think he's a bad man. I think Biden is a bad man. I don't think either stand in God's favor based on the actions they proudly display for all the world to see.

I can't bring myself to pick either one to lead us and I'll waste my vote on someone who hasn't already shown themselves to be evil.
What makes you think I believe voting for Trump is good according to God's will?
You wrote that you follow what is good according the God's will. Then you wrote a bunch of bad stuff that liberals have done, and that the nation itself has done - this "Sodom and Gomorrah" that needs to be burnt to the ground, presumably according to God's will as was done in the Old Testament. Then you wrap up with "for that reason, I will vote for him [Trump]".

You wrote all of that in the same paragraph so I figured your ending statement was aligned with your opening statement and the stuff in between was there to support your conclusion about the will of God, what it is, and how a vote for Trump is in support of that. Sorry if I connected the dots wrong.
I didn't write that I follow what is good according to God's will. I like to say that I always do but I don't. Lord have mercy on my soul. Nor did I write that a vote for or against either candidate is voting according to God's will. I wrote that we are supposed to follow God's will rather than be influenced by the institutions of man which is the part I take exception to in your post. What that means to each of us is between God and the individual according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I also didn't say who is responsible for "the bad stuff". You assumed I meant liberals. I believe the evils plaguing our nation and the world go beyond political party and in fact both and all are complicit. Hence my belief that neither is redeemable and need to be destroyed like Sodom and Gomorrah. Whether this is where we are or not a this moment in time or whether it will get far worse and more depraved before the end, my belief is supported biblically. Come swiftly, Jesus.

All the same, your choices are limited to the names on the ballot.

If it's between Trump and Biden, who would you prefer to walk down a dark and dangerous alley with?

If the alley were dangerously populated with Jew-hating neo-Nazis or Antifa, then Biden. They like Biden, as much as they tolerate anyone.

Otherwise.... not Biden.

If you had to listen to one of these narcissists tell his grandiose stories and boast of his life's accomplishments, which one would you choose?

I'm just sayin', which do we want representing America in tense negotiations with Putin, or Xi, or facing down Iran-backed terrorists?
