I'm looking for a used cruiser bicycle to build into a lowrider. Found a decent deal on an 90's 26" Schwinn on FB Marketplace in the next town over and the dudes also on the FB CPS group! Turns out he's a home builder, working in my town, like a mile and a half from me, so the deal's going down tomorrow at noon.

I felt a little odd asking him for a photo. Besides he looked the same before as after. Truth is, he wasn't there, but the bike was. I took the bike, left the money and an estate pipe.

I did tell him about this place. More like warned him. We'll see if he cares to hook up.

I'm going to let him look around and see if it's a fit first. If it is, I'll let him know about the troll guarding the bridge and I'll let you know his name.

I’m driveway sitting with black coffee and a tan and white dog patting myself on the back for doing yard chores yesterday. I’m also a bit annoyed that the fall fertilizer I dropped did not achieve overnight perfection like the kid at Ace promised it would. Pfft.

I think I’d make a pretty good hardware store geezer. I think I’ll apply - not even kidding.

It’s trash day and I’ve developed a new habit over the last few pickup cycles. I walk through the house/garage the night before and force myself to pick things that need to go away. From there, the chosen stuff either goes to the curb, or the back of my truck for donation. At first, you couldn’t tell that I was doing anything, but now it’s starting to make a noticeable difference in several areas of the house. I’m obsessed with keeping the practice going. I’ve gutted my side of our closet (I’m not there yet for her side) and de-hoarded the guest room and its closet. The other bedroom is in progress and will be fit to house visitors soon. There’s many weeks of work left to do, but it’s making for reliable, productive distraction.

I'm looking around the board this morning hitting the "thanks" button, waiting for a tow truck to come take away our car. It was a good car.
