RIP John Gierach

Post by Bloodhound »

Gierach passed away Thursday (10/3) morning in the hospital from a massive heart attack.

I have many of his books, his wit and sincere humor has been a voice in my fly fishing journey!

He's why I took up fly fishing and part of the reason I now live in CO. Seriously. Pretty sure I have all his books and I've enjoyed everything he's ever done. He's atop my list of favorite fishing writers. Durangopipe is #2. I admire the two greatly.
