MILEI: ARGENTINA ENDS DEFICIT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 123 YEARS

"The deficit was the root of all our evils—without it, there’s no debt, no emission, no inflation.

Today, we have a sustained fiscal surplus, free of default, for the first time in 123 years.

This historic achievement came from the greatest adjustment in history and reducing monetary emission to zero.

A year ago, a degenerate printed 13% of GDP to win an election, fueling inflation.

Today, monetary emission is a thing of the past."

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is considering resigning, according to CTV News.

Sources have reportedly told the outlet that Trudeau is "considering prorogation or resignation" and may address Parliament today.

"Sources tell CTV News that the prime minister has conveyed to cabinet that he is considering prorogation or resignation, and he’s potentially planning to address Parliament this afternoon," the outlet reported.

The report comes after Canada's finance minister Chrystia Freeland suddenly announced that she was quitting.

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is also calling out Trudeau, saying Canada has "gotten out of control" under his leadership.

Ontario is running promo ads during NFL games... "Remember, you like us. We're still friends, right?"

So, yeah. Defensive posture ahead of a possible trade war. Don't want to offend the tourist business.

What a dork. That clown (Ford) thinks he won't hurt his own citizens by getting in a tariff war with the US? They won't last a month without US money coming in. That's the exact thing that got Trudeau in hot water when he told Trump that a trade war with the US would devastate their economy and Trump suggested that if they can't get along without our money maybe they should join us as the 51st state. Granted, Canada is our most important partner so this squabbling isn't desirable for our side either, but they certainly don't hold the upper hand in this deal.

I suspect Trump's saber rattling has more to do with China, Russia and Iran than Canada, Panama and Greenland.
What Trump is threatening isn't much different than China calling dibs on Taiwan, the PI and Japan, or Russia going after Ukraine, Poland and the Baltic, or Iran's nuclear thumb on the entire Middle East.
It's ammunition for negotiations on a more level playing field.
Biden handed over the keys to the city to a bunch of global tyrants and the quickest way to get them back is to maybe confront them with the threat of an invincible economic and global war machine. Can Trump do it? What matters is does China, Russia and Iran believe iy..
Maybe that's what it'll take to get meaningful diplomacy accomplished.
Just like with the tariffs, the impending threat is the thing.
Crazy---maybe not so crazy---Trump threatens---things happen.
Good things, I hope.
The proof might be if Hamas releases the hostages by the inauguration

Realistically, how do you get tyrants to back down?
How do you get invaders to leave?
You hire a lawyer.
Biden's lawyers were pathetic.
We can only wait and see if Trump's lawyers are better.

There is a precedent.
Denmark did sell it's Virgin Islands to the US.
Maybe they'll accept it back for Greenland?
The weather is better.

This is a very surrealistic time in History.
Trump isn't in the White House and he's successfully playing world leaders solely by suggestion.
Denmark allocates more money for Greenland's security, which has been a Trumpian goal all along with NATO countries.
Trudeau throws in the towel after a dinner at Mar-a-Lago so Canada at long last can show a rather bizarre tyrant the door..
Panama gets read the riot act for price gouging the supply chain.
And all this is happening now.
This from someone with no power as yet, while the sitting President with all the power in the world doesn't appear to be functional.
This is material for a story something along the lines of Sargent Bilko meets Peewee Herman.
