Sounds like it. Very effective strategy. Keep your eye on the bird while you're mounting. Never much cared for half-mounting as it loses a second.Hovannes wrote: ↑20 Sep 2022, 19:08Shot gunning?JudgeRusty wrote: ↑18 Sep 2022, 09:00 Recently working on target focus while pushing gun forward prior to gun mount.

Yo Del. ^This. This right here.^ This is all you need to see in order to understand they're posting about topics they have no direct knowledge of, and even the second hand knowledge they have - gained through reading or internet videos, but most certainly not from actually handling a gun - was either inaccurate then or misremembered now.Troubadour wrote: ↑20 Sep 2022, 16:47I don't know how to build guns, but that sounds interesting.JudgeRusty wrote: ↑18 Sep 2022, 09:00 Recently working on target focus while pushing gun forward prior to gun mount.
Judge is writing about shooting a gun (a very specific method of aiming and shooting a gun), not building or modifying a gun. It's a pretty big mistake to make if one wishes to be taken seriously on the topic of guns or gun control, and, for me at least, informs my thoughts on pretty much anything they post anywhere.

CC companies are now tracking gun and ammo purchases. The heat from this will be interesting.

If this administration asked CC companies to "do something" about gun and ammunition sales and then the CC companies asked ISO for a new category code for tracking gun and ammo sales, would this make everyone involved some sort of "agent for the government"?
Would this be a violation of the Constitution?

Yeah, but they didn't create a Constitution where "they mattered" - they just created a system for getting things done. That was the whole point of it.

That "system for getting things done" relies entirely on technologies which the "old dead guys" couldn't have imagined.Troubadour wrote: ↑22 Sep 2022, 21:22More or less. The system of law is what it is regardless of whether or not one cares about some "old dead guys". That was the entire point.Hovannes wrote: ↑22 Sep 2022, 21:20Not quite.Troubadour wrote: ↑22 Sep 2022, 17:17

But then again, the average person is so illiterate on the fundamentals of the laws of their land that it'll probably fall on dead ears.
