Failure...
I've been working on welding a frame for an end table out of 1/16" 1x square tubing. Long story short, it's too much out of square and complete garbage. I went too far with it to correct my problems. It was a bummer. However, it reminds me of this quote, "Sometimes you win. Sometimes you learn." Tonight I learned. I'll adjust and try again.

A supervisor once told me long ago, "you don't want to have too many of those learning experiences."
The Indians will not bother you now, on account of ... you are touched.

You know, the thread titles around here often scare me a little.
But yes, I screw up a lot of projects and measure their relative merits by how many trips to the hardware store it took to complete them. I totally get it.

Failure...
This weekend My son in law and I put covers on the windows of the cabin...the plan was to cut plywood and drill and mount on machine screws mounted to the frames. I measured and measured and marked the cut, but then went back and measured again. He asked me if I was ever gonna turn the saw on and actually cut it...I told him that last year I was cutting wood for another project and after I measured, I cut the board 3 times and it was still too short...
We got them all covered without wasting a $43 sheet of plywood...$43 for plywood.....
