My alma mater won their championship tonight.
My alma mater (high school) won regional last night, in front of a crowd of ~14,000 at NRG Stadium in Houston. The score was 24-14, but it really wasn't that close. Our grandson did well but broke his ring finger on his left hand while making a tackle. He played on and did well, but it was pretty swollen today. He must be doing ok; he rode on the football team float in a local Christmas parade this evening and was able to throw candy.
On a somewhat related note, someone this evening stated that "some people may have 7s looking beyond the upcoming game". I was as curious as I am dumb, so I Googled the phrase, and ran across an Enneagram test, so I took it and ended up being a Type 1, with Type 6 a close second.
I am not as cool as JimVH. Nor or you. Well, unless you ARE JimVH.
I'll take your word for it...that is too early for me, unless I am going fishing or hunting...Today was neither...just work so I slept till 6:45...not that you care

The dogs and I can't make it past 5:30a. (if you know you know) I usually try to go back to sleep but it hardly ever happens. I'm almost always at work before any of my coworkers and they're on central time.

I'm almost done with Christmas baking that needs to be mailed. Fruit cakes are done, shortbread, mincemeat pies, Katherine Hepburn brownies, bourbon balls, and tea cakes. The goal is to get pkgs to the PO today.
