When it's snowing down in Texas, all the telephone lines are down.

It was 36f for the first dog walk this morning. The guy. down the street, a recent Chicago transplant, was washing his car in light clothing and flip-flops. We laughed at the contrast in our attire (I was bundled for the frozen tundra). I said Texans must be pretty funny to him in cold weather. He chuckled and said, "Yes, I've seen a few things that made me wonder."

I think he might become a good neighbor.

It’s raining, it’s pouring, I wish I was snoring.

Supposed to be high 50s and heavy rain all day.

I was REALLY hoping we'd get through this year w/out snow in the PNW.

Nope. Currently have around 6" and more coming. Time to break out the chains.
