Bandsaws can be wonky and hard to tune up. My advice is to buy good parts if needed - blades, guides, tires, and bearings - and sneak up on it. I suspect it needs a new blade and quite a bit of adjustment so I dug out he owner's manual, but I have to admit I'm finding this task a wee bit daunting.
Any words of encouragement?
