We just returned from Los Angeles to spend Father's Day with my daughter and her dog and check out her new apartment.
We got to go to the Dog People for a Country Music doggy festival.
That was interesting.
We also had lunch at famous Langer's Delicatessen, whose Pastrami is supposed to rival Katz's in New York.
It does---I had the #19.
Dinner was drinks and appetizers at an overpriced rooftop bar.
This morning after mass, we walked around Larchmont before heading home.
We didn't get to see Joe Biden eating an ice cream cone.
There is a terrible fire on I-5 but we got through with no problems except for the smoke doing a number on my eyes.
