My weekend so far, in pictures

Watching a grackle have his way with what appears to be a McDonald's bag, while waiting in line at the Walgreens drive through.

Watching a guy while waiting in line at the Starbucks drive through. He removed his jacket, then a shirt, then finsihed a bag of (I presume) chips, then shared the crumbs by hand to a mound of fire ants, then proceeded to pick up trash, placing some pieces in his mouth when both hands were full. It took too long to get a couple of Americanos with half and half, and maybe that's why Starbucks stock has been down.

Walking through the big and tall section of Kohl's, I was reminded of JimVH's and Bloodhound's discussion of wearing PJs in public. If I was to do this I think I'd go with the green ones.

Duck hunting with two of my grandsons this morning in the rain. "Are you ready to go?", the younger one asked. "Well, the thunder is getting closer, and the rain is getting harder, so, uh, yeah."

And then this afternoon, Hoppes #9. The scent isn't what it used to be.
