I have a dusty poppy left over from last year---I hardly ever see them around here anymore.

We're both down with the crude so we won't be going to the parade downtown.

Happy Veterans Day!

Sat bedside vigil with my favorite Vietnam veteran- my dad. He's thankfully on the mend somewhat. I spent last week rescuing him from his certain death to come live with me. Didn't quite make the drive home and had to make a pit stop in the ER. He was admitted to the hospital in really bad shape but God is good and it looks like we will get to go home today.
