What’s going on with all of the drones/UAP, whatever’s? and why is it not being talked about on a nation wide scale?

Something seems off on all of it. If you’re not on X you’ve not even heard about them, I’m sure.

There seems to be a lot of them showing up with regularity and predictability.
If the gov't wanted to, they could force some to the ground with the downdraft from a large helicopter to find out about the origins.
But they haven't.
Why is that?

Moments ago, the Pentagon updated on the NJ drone situation, and denies the claim by
@Congressman_JVD
these are Iranian drones launched from a "mothership".

They also deny they are U.S. drones.

Investigation is ongoing.

If Vandenberg can track a drone and arrest the perp on his way to the PRC, why can't Picatinny or Fort Drum (or New Jersey) find who is flying drones in their neck of the woods?
