I forget the year, but does anyone else have the Canadian POY? If so, ho does yours smoke? I really like the feel and weight of mine, but it's hard to keep clean and the draw gets restricted easily. Any ideas on how to open that long shank up a little?

I have a Blatter & Blatter Canadian, a few years older than the POY, that’s almost indistinguishable from the POY. Both are equally great pipes. I’ve not had any draw issues, but then they haven’t seen a great deal of use in a while.

The Canadian shapes (Lumberman, Lovat...) are my favorites. I missed out on the POY as I had just purchased one of Rusty's pipes, a Savinelli Canadian, so I didn't spend the coin on the POY...I am now regretting that decision...

Pics please as I do not recall a Canadian poy, which is generally my preferred shape.

As a child, if u had asked me to draw a pipe, something like a lumberman would have been the result.

I have several among the Lovats, Canadian, Liverpool and lumberman shapes.

2015 I believe. I'll take a pic and get it on here, but it pretty much looks like the pipe in the pic above with Nate. It's for times like this that I wish we had the history from the old forum.

I found a long-shanked 1/8" drill bit today and just used it like a pipe cleaner, and pulled all sorts of debris out of the shank, what looked like sawdust, pipe cleaner remnants, semi-solid tar, etc. It's a wonder I was ever able to smoke it. The bit was tougher to clean very well, but I did pull out some debris that appeared to be pipe cleaner remnants. i need to find me some decent pipe cleaners. I finished the cleaning job with some Wild Turkey 101 and the best cleaners I could locate in my cabinet. I found a small round file, ~1/8" or so that I may use later to open the airway up somewhat.

You could use a slightly bigger drill bit.
