Made my first real mod to my new bike. I swapped out the Tektro Mira disk brake calipers for some 15 year old Avid BB7s off my old commuter I'm going to sell. Big improvement in stopping power. Have some Avid rotors coming, I'm funny like that.

Got in a set of 29er wheels for the Grappler. Now I'll be able to change between mountain bike type tires and ones for either gravel or training rides on hard surfaces. Here is it is with the 29er wheels with 40mm wide gravel tires.

The new wheelset and tires knocked a pound off each end. It spools up a lot faster now on pavement.

Umm... why haven't you installed the pipe rack yet?

I'm waiting on my Swiss Titanium 3D Printed pipe holder to be delivered.

Met my friend Sanil this morning for a gravel ride on the new bike. It did quite well. A fun guy time.

After the ride I cleaned it up, lubed the chain, and changed the flat pedals for a set of Look X-Track clipless pedals.
