Absolutely useless facts about you nobody cares about

Lately, I've been doing rocket science in Fortran. I had no idea there were so many coordinate systems in the world.
I am not as cool as JimVH. Nor or you. Well, unless you ARE JimVH.

I've had my battered old Raleigh Sports bicycle apart for so long, I misplaced the axle nuts.

Penny and I celebrated our 33rd anniversary yesterday. (My mom said it wouldn't last). We mostly celebrated with an 8 day trip to the Oregon coast to watch the whales...but that was last week. So last night we went to dinner at a new-ish Tex-Mex restaurant in town. It was OK but not as good as the place we found in Colorado Springs early this Summer.

My MIL recently got a colostomy bag. The nurses said that many people name their bags...often after the doctor. After consulting several people, she decided (at my suggestion) to name her bag after our state governor because it's full of $#!t.

Time to close the pool tomorrow when TinyPiper is home to help. Worst day of every year. When it's too cold to step outside and jump in the pool... it's just too cold.

I attended a Catholic Mass (Requiem mass?) followed by the Catholic funeral for the first time today, was part of the Funeral procession as well.

The reception was a blast, made some new friends while remembering our friend that left us way too soon.
