I went to the dentist for the first time in ___ (ashamed to say) years. I have pretty bad dental anxiety, not sure why.
I thought that maybe my dental health would be pretty bad.

Surprisingly things were very very good. No cavities No gum disease No plaque or tartar build up, a quick and easy cleaning and they want to see me in a year.

I asked if they recommend a certain toothbrush and they only recommend a soft bristle electric brush. They asked if that is what I've been using. NOPE I just use a medium toothbrush, seems to work just fine.

Went on a 6 mile hike yesterday with Mrs FredS. Started at around 8000' with 1000' elevation gain split 50/50 out and back. Relied on an app that was supposed to warn us if we deviated from our pre-planned route. It didn't. We took a wrong turn that added 2 miles more than we'd planned. Didn't take enough water for the extended mileage. Cramped up bad on the way back. Too old for this s^%*.

I spoke for the first time at a national conference a couple weekends ago. Huge step for me. I was super nervous but I apparently crushed it. I wouldn't know; I blacked out the whole thing. lol. Must have went into a dissociative fugue or something.
