Make it 4. A guy on another forum lost his dog to a stroke this morning, plus a dog next door and one across the street a month ago makes 6 dogs put down in a month's time. I suppose there's good reason(s) that dogs don't live long, but some just don't live long enough.
Please forget I ever mentioned owning dogs. mmmmmk?

So, yesterday I dropped off my broken fly rod at the Houston Orvis store, then drove over to Rice Village for my wife, drove around for 15 minutes while never finding a parking spot, then took Kirby Ave out to the West Loop in route to Galveston.
This took us past NRG, where crowds of youngsters, mostly if not entirely of which were female, were on the sidewalks heading to the Taylor Swift concert. I just don't get it, I told my wife. She's their Elvis, my wife replied.
Well that thought shook me to the core. She ain't Elvis, I said. I was driving so I didn't get pics, but I've never seen concert attire like what I saw yesterday afternoon, nor as many multi colored cowboy hats. I wanted to roll down my window and yell to everyone that Halloween ain't til October, but my wife said don't you dare, this is special for these kids. I'm just an old country guy, but I still don't get it.

Your wife's comparison to Elvis is accurate. Throw in Micheal Jackson and you have the trifecta of super pop stars over the last 60ish years. Seriously, she's that big. I reckon the Beatles might be in there someplace too.

My grown daughters are Swifties. I few years ago, when she played KC, I counted 15 big rigs parked around the concert venue, unloading equipment and merchandise. It must be quite a show. Last year, when her current tour was announced one of my girls (she's 30something) asked if we had a capital one credit card because cardholders had first shot at tickets. I said "But I don't like Taylor Swift." They've secured tickets for her July show in KC at Arrowhead Stadium.

Yeah, I failed to mention that by coincidence our daughter and granddaughter attended one of the Houston concerts, our granddaughter being a Swiftie. Reportedly the concert included 44 songs, and ran for over 3 hours, and our daughter said it was the safest and most amazing concert that she's ever attended. I told our daughter to send pics, I'd like to see how she and the grand were dressed, but so far I haven't seen any.

I cleaned the AC pads and hosed off the coils since we're headed for the 90's tomorrow.
