Patent help/questions...

Post by jmg »

Actually it's for a provisional patent application. Any of you guys familiar with this process that can help me?

I'm currently trying to fill out the cover page for the PPA. Under the "Correspondence Address" section I have ticked "The address corresponding to customer number" and apparently I am supposed to fill in the following blank with whatever that number actually is. Here's my problem. I have no idea what this is/should be.

Any help is appreciated.

Never mind. I should have ticked "Firm or individual name"

Couldn't have done it without you.

In other news. My provisional patent application has been filed. Now I just need to finish my promotional material (flyer, short promo video) and then I'll start putting the idea out there to a few companies. Chances are, nothing will come of it. But maybe someone will be interested and I'll be able to make a few shekels.

What have you invented?

You aren't trying to patent a unique pipe-shape, are you?

It's an accessory for a tool that most folks already have. It would save you from having to buy a completely separate tool/jig to perform the same function. My thing is super cheap to make and is not limited to the size that these other jigs are made to.
