I was laughed at by a Canadian server once for asking for ice in my tea.

It scarred me.

Deep emotional scarring.

Understandable.

There are few really good Canadian restaurants in my part of the world. So I wonder:
What is the proper wine to serve with Canadian food?

Fake News!

You asked for ice for your tea and it was late November. In Canada. You want ice for your tea go scrape it off the hood of Da Truck. She laughed? More like she almost peed her panties.

I've been informed that Canadian bacon ain't really Canadian, but whatever Canadian food is the proper wine it should be served with Ice Wine.

It's embarrassing to write this- as it exposes my vulgarity as a young man - but when I see poutine, my head voice says poontang. I'm not sure how that entered my vocabulary, but I think it was from vets returning from Vietnam.

The thread title implies that there is a dangerous place in which to poke fun at Canadians.

In my experience, this is not true. Those boys are well-adjusted.
