Our local radio station, KMJ, celebrated 100 years on the air with a documentary. The station originally broadcast farm-centric programming, but during WW2 they weren't allowed to broadcast weather reports so the Axis wouldn't be tipped off to what weather was headed East.

Hailstorm. Lots of little balls of ice, enough to cover the streets.
Fortunately, it's little bouncy pellets of ice. Slightly larger than sleet. I consider this harmless to roofs and buildings. Farmers have not planted yet (still too early in Wisconsin). So not a lot of devastation.
Just a whole lot of ice.

Just saw that Portland Ore. is having one of the coldest / wettest springs on record. Kinda puts a damper on thing for the `tards, don't it?
