So sorry to hear that. I'm glad things have changed though. Praying for progress.

JimVH wrote: 20 Jun 2022, 21:19 I had a full-on redneck comeapart on the hospital today. Nearly a week in ICU with cardiac issues and I found out today the cardiologist has never once stepped into her room, physically examined her, or even spoken to her. There is no care plan, no definitive diagnosis, and no care options examined. I lost my ever loving mind. Almost a week and her cardiac care has not been advanced one stinkin bit. I can’t recall ever feeling this kind of anger.

She has a whole lot of new people assigned to her now. I hope that equates to rapid progress. A new cardiologist suspects she will need to be cardioverted and there’s consideration of a pacemaker. Decisions that should have been made days ago will be made starting tomorrow. At least something is finally happening.
You did the right thing Jim. No one at the hospital will fight for your wife like you can. We've been in similar situations. It's mind-boggling how inept health care professionals and their systems can be sometimes. I have MANY thoughts, but will resist sending them. Prayers for you and Rita.

Rita's home. I'm concerned they pushed her out too quickly, but I'm grateful to have her home. We have a bunch of outpatient stuff to do now, but things are on the mend.

Thanks, y'all.

Don't know how I missed the latest, I guess due to my traveling, but I've been remembering Rita and you, and continue to do so in daily prayers. Wow, and I was thinking she was at Methodist?
