I wish. There are days when I seem to say "non serviam." Days when I don't turn the other cheek. Days when I'm less than Christian, when I don't struggle against my fallen nature. Today was just one of those days. And the mood doesn't change my prayer life or my gratefulness that I was bought at such a price, but they're immensely frustrating because I know I'm being sour but just can't break out of it. Luckily I seem to hide it well because people that are driving me nuts will still be laughing and joking with me while I'm steaming inwardly. Really grateful for that, frankly

Anyway, more than anybody needed to know but it felt good to get it out.

Beautiful sunrise over my spot on earth this morning. The mountains aren't purple but some other hue of pinkish-blue that doesn't have a name. Two dozen geese just flew by my window, with the mountains as their backdrop.

Got my first paycheck from my new job. Ended up being several hundred more than I estimated. Sometimes being wrong is nice.
