What Made You Happy Today

I just learned that my niece's husband took their 10 year old son to an A's vs Yankees game and the little guy caught a foul ball hit by Aaron Judge. That made me happy.

My eldest was made the captain of her school tennis team. I see so much potential in this kid. May this be the start of her seeing what the rest of us see!

Extraction of honey from honeycomb is a very satisfying experience. Thanks to one phenomenal colony of bees we're getting an unexpected honey harvest in the first year. Honestly, any thing that our back yard produces brings me joy and satisfaction.

It's tough out there. Sometimes feeling somebody else's joy is enough for me, too.

My wife got stuck in traffic taking the elder Draxii to school today, so I drove the youngest. Her 4th grade self had some interesting suggestions for other drivers. Not violent. More things they could do to control themselves. I think it's going to be a good day.
