So how far out are we from the 'mark'?

About 6 Nov 2020 I got on to CPS and said something to the effect of 'welcome to the banana republic'. No one agreed, no one really even commented. I was right.

So, are tech stocks a good investment now?

BTW, I remember in 2008, or maybe 2009, many of the world players were saying that global crude oil would soon be traded in Euros, rather than dollars. We'll see.

I waved goodbye when Biden was inaugurated. Remember when he closed construction of our own Keystone XL pipeline on Day One, and cancelled all of Trump's sanctions blocking Putin -- allowing completion of Nordstream II pipeline?

We are still just watching all the dominoes fall.

Biden dramatically devalued our currency. So.... all of the nations holding dollars (to trade oil) lost a tremendous amount of value. It hurt them as much as it hurt us.

Other nations were trading in US dollars because they had confidence in America's economic stability. We lost their confidence.

I don't blame China and France for trusting their own economies and currency stability over America's. Biden just signed a big, inflationary "Inflation Reduction Act." And he's gearing up for a battle with Congressional Republicans over his another-trillion-dollar-deficit budget.

If I were Xi and China, I'd be looking for opportunities to leverage the world's lack of confidence in Biden and America. This unforced error is totally on us.

There's been a stretch of train derailments and a barge on the Ohio river, all spilling toxic contents.
